FOUND: Home
Tokyo Launch
Saturday 16 May 20265-9PM
Megutama Photobook Diner,

On Saturday 16 May, FOUND launched its debut publication, FOUND: Home, in the heart of Tokyo. Taking place at Megutama Photobook Diner, we had the pleasure of sharing our experiences in Japan so far: learning traditional bookbinding techniques from Japanese specialists and visiting Echizen to learn about Washi papermaking.
We spoke about the collaborative process behind the project, which brings together over 30 photographers from the UK and Japan, and were kindly joined by Kotaro Iizawa and Kenji Chiga, one of our guest contributors, for a dynamic conversation about FOUND: Home and Chiga’s featured project, Patched Pup.
The evening culminated in exciting dialogue around photography, and a delicious feast prepared by the culinary team at Megutama (of course, followed by karaoke).
Founded by Niharika Pathak and Noam Dee, FOUND is a cross-cultural photobook publishing platform and artist collective based between Japan and the UK. We bring together photographers to explore publishing as a space for dialogue, exchange, and connection - extending beyond the book as a purely physical form.
Join us in this ongoing conversation through our upcoming publications, research, and workshops!
